Do you shoot both colour and B&W?

I deliver a good variation of images in a true to life colour (edited to maintain the colours used/ featured on the day - typically around 70% of your gallery) with the remaining 30% provided in a timeless black and white edit. I’m always happy to swap colourways once images are delivered to you if you’d prefer to see a colour in B&W and vice versa and this can be done free of charge within the proofing period of your album.

Do you travel?

Whilst the majority of my weddings take place in either Bristol or London, I do love to travel all over the UK and am open to capturing weddings all over the world and have been as far as Mexico and St Lucia for couples. Travel expenses are included within my packages for mainland UK venues but for any locations outside of this area, further travel can be quoted on enquiry.

For worldwide locations, please fill in a contact form with your full brief and I can quote you accordingly including travel and any pre wedding plans you might have - I.E welcome dinners or hangovers brunches.

We’re a bit awkward in front of the camera and we don’t think we’re photogenic - is this going to be a problem?

This is something the majority of my couples tell me (yes, even the ones you’ve seen beautifully romantic portraits of) and I tell them all the same thing, your only priority on your day will be to enjoy yourselves. Please don’t worry about being ‘awkward’ or if you’re going to look ‘photogenic’. Just relax.

If you have any major hang ups that you know you won’t be able to let go of, please don’t be afraid to have that conversation with me ahead of time. I’m talking about things like you don’t like being photographed from the right hand side or you have a scar you might be conscious of. With these things we can work together to try and find a work around for you so you have the space just to relax and enjoy yourself without worrying about them. I’d hate nothing more than for you to end up not liking your photos once they’ve been delivered because we didn’t have the conversation ahead of time so the sooner we talk about these things and make a plan, the less anxious you’ll feel on the day.

Also it’s worth remembering that the majority of my couples photos you see and like photos of ALL felt the same. You don’t have to pose, you don’t have to do formal group photos and you don’t even have to have couples portraits. We’ll work together to create a plan that fits you and your day best. It’s one of the reasons I take the time to get to know you and ask these all important questions. You should never feel forced to ‘perform’ on your wedding day.

Will you require food on the day and if so, what are your dietary requirements?

As a lot of venues are out of the way of accessible food options, I do ask if it’s possible to be supplied with a meal when working full day coverage. Ideally something hot and substantial will be more than enough and is super, super appreciated. However please don't worry about fitting me into table plans as I’m happy to sit away from you and your guests (this actually gives me the opportunity to run over everything we’ve done up until that point in the day and just check my equipment) but I’ll never say no to being included on tables - just don’t feel pressured to include me!

Usually your venue/ catering team can recommend some options for me and you’ll find that most catering teams already accommodate for us in their numbers so it’s always best to ask them for advice.

Dietary requirements for me are simple - I don’t eat fish or mayo but if you’re unsure of what to do about meal options and the venue has a bar/ restaurant area, you can always set up a tab for me instead so I can choose my own food.

When and how can we book you?

You can book in whenever you feel ready! Simply fill in a contact form and then from there, we’ll run over your plans and if you’re liking what you see and hear - we can get you booked in. The more details you can provide up front, the better.

Please do be aware that I work on a first come first served basis. This means the first person to confirm their booking with a booking fee and a signed contract will secure the date. Due to my busy schedule, I am only able to offer video calls during office hours (out of hours calls are offered on a case by case basis) You can found availability and more details via my Calendly diary - https://calendly.com/chloemary
